He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rowen and Loretta Rowen (Heller); his wife Hazel Beach; his brother Keith Rowen; his brothers-in-law, Ivan Daugherty and Martin Beach; his great grandchild Anna Hazel Johnsen; and his nephews, Barry Lager, Rick Daugherty and Jay Beach.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Johnsen (David) of Fargo, ND, Marla Lichty (Lee) of Wessington, SD, Lyle, Jr. Rowen (Rhonda) of Miller, SD and Glenn Rowen (Lesa) of Wessington, SD.; his grandchildren, Candice Smith of Locust Grove, GA, Jeff Johnsen (Sadie) of Green Bay, WI, Kellie Haaby (Steve) of Fargo, ND, Heather Nichols (Dennis) of Bennington, NE, Lance Lichty (Kirsten), Megan Huizenga (Brian) of Wessington, SD, Brad Parmely of Highmore, SD, Eric Parmely of Miller, SD, Callie Jo Moser (Lance) of Wessington, SD, Betsy Clemente (Rafael) of Wessington, SD, Kayti Ammerman (Robert) of Cordova, AK, Stephanie Huntsinger of Wessington, SD, Melissa Hentges (Nic) of Minneapolis, MN and Mallory Held (Dan) of Waconia, MN; his siblings, Joan Daugherty, Barb Lager (Bob) and Larry Rowen (Deanne); and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Beach and Shirley Rowen. He is also survived by 39 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
