He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schimke and Adella Schimke (Vogel); and his son Jeffrey Ross. He is survived by: his wife Delores; his daughters, Laura Ross of Minneapolis, MN, Linda Nissen and Lynette Mitzel (Tony); his grandchildren, Corey Ross, Chantel Ross, Brooke Ross, Julia Nissen, Melanie Nissen, Nicole Mitzel and Brandon Mitzel; his great grandchildren, Khalil, Elina and Naomi Ross; and his siblings, Virginia Van Eck (Jack) of Lake Wilson, MN and Verlyn Schimke (Renee) of Wessington Springs, SD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
