It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Niles (Wessington Springs, South Dakota), who passed away on October 4, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Niles and Mildred Niles (Sheldon); his nephew Jeff Johnson of Wessington Springs; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Anderson and Clyde Olsen Plankinton (Donna).
He is survived by: his grandchild Mello Yello; his wife Phyllis; his children, Roberta Bruns (Bob) of Plankinton, Vernon Niles (Mary) of Plankinton, Peggy Hoffman (Larry) of Plankinton and Valerie Curtis (Don) of Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Randi Christensen (Charlie), Jaxon, Keaton, Loagon, Tessa Overweg (Gary), Halley (Austin), Destiney, Hayden, Drew, Rustin Bruns (Kama), Royce, Layce, Tyce, Chayce, Hayes Niles (Stacie), Madison, Miranda, Vernon, Culynn Curtis (Meg), Oliver, Margo, Raya Nagel (Landon), Rhykon, Rhykena, Tyann Curtis (Clay Guardipee), Payleen O'Day, Thomina Niles and Tristan Niles; his great great grandchild Aaleyah; and his sisters, Margie Fagan (Joan McCord) of Oregon and White Lake.
