He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred G Marken and Viola Marken (Burma); and his daughter Jackie Chvala (Marken). He is survived by his wife Lynette Marken, Wessington Springs, SD; his children, Kim Estes (Alan) of Stuart, NE, Shellie Fontana (Tony) of Sherman, TX, JoAnn Mikkelsen (Alan) of Rapid City, SD and Tyler Marken (Carla) of Aberdeen, SD; his son-in-law Phil Chvala (Rebecca) of Meadow Grove, NE; his grandchildren, Anita Foor (Ryan), Emily Estes, Rosa Fontana, Isabella Trader (Matt), Marina Mikkelsen, Katelyn Scheffert (Riley), Eilert Marken, Laura Gillick (Chris), Audrey and Daniel Chvala; his great grandchildren, Mackenna and Sawyer Wollenburg, Jensyn and Greta Foor, Reverie Trader and Declan Gillick; and his sister Connie Swenson of Woonsocket, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
