She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Doering and Laurinda Doering (Ocean); her husband Roland Powell; her siblings, Violet Stam (Jake), Ruby Gray (Buford), Ralph (Henrietta), Orville (Evelyn) and Marvin; and her daughters, Janet, Denise, Diane and Sara.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Powell (Ellen), Donald Powell (Debra), Sandy Brown (Robert), Linda Willman (Randy) and Jennifer Wetzel (Keith); and her sister-in-law Maggie Doering. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
