She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Link and Mary Sprowl; her brother Ray; her husband Jerry; her daughter Kathleen; and her daughter-in-law Tammy Higgins.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Higgins (Maggie) of Wessington Springs, Terri Mebius (Mike) of Wessington Springs, Jean Shultz (Randy) of Wessington Springs, Tim Higgins (Lotus) of Arlington, SD, Steve Higgins (Toni) of Rapid City, SD and Patti Fiegen (Ed) of Madison, SD. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family will use memorial funds toward local foundations in Wessington Springs.
