It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Huntimer of Wentworth, South Dakota, born in Webster, South Dakota, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Murschel and Anna Murschel (Weiger); and her brothers, Lawrence, Clarence, Aries Van Hunnik Jr. and Max Huntimer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mona Hexom (Brian) and Jona Schmidt (Rick); her grandchildren, Dawn Semrau, Allie Crittenden (Jason), Kirstie Ross (Brett) and Chase Bunting; and her great grandchildren, Harrison Semrau, Jackson, Garrett, Charlotte Crittenden of Virginia, Boone and Calhan Ross.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Rose Hill Cemetery in Wentworth or to a local cat rescue organization.
