With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Randy Hanson of Wentworth, South Dakota, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carl Norwood, Loree Hanson (Hammond), Peder and Verna Erickson (McLoud); and his aunts and uncles, Gaylord Hanson, Mark Hanson Sr., Rex Hanson, Tab Hanson, Richard Erickson, Wayne Geyer, Lovell Dahl, Loree "Rooney" Clarambeau, Dana Johnson, Norma Hines and Beverly Seaworth.
He is survived by: his parents, Randall Norwood Hanson, Sr. and Verna Hanson (Erickson) of Glenrock, WY; his siblings, Summer Hanson of Glenrock, WY and Tyler Hanson (Hayley); his nephew Jaxton of Casper, WY; his daughters, Theresa Martone (Jonathan) of Rochester, MI, Tristina-Rae Moore of Casper, WY, Alexandra Kolb of Aberdeen, SD and Emily VanderZiel (Brandon) of Lennox, SD; and his grandchildren, Graeme Galles, Rhaylinn-Rae Moore, Jensen, Audrey Kolb, Remi and Navy VanderZiel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rustand-Weiland Funeral Chapel (320 Egan Ave N, Madison, SD 57042). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
