We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2023, at the age of 83, Gary Avise of Wentworth, South Dakota, born in Benkelman, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle and Lois; and his former wife Dona Brenna (Dotson). He is survived by: his wife Rita Fry; his children, Jerry Avise, Mark Avise and DeeAnn Ludden; and his stepdaughters, Debbie Slyngstad and Michelle Gonzalez. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
