It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherman McCarlson of Webster, South Dakota, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Adeline Jeaninne Wik; his parents, Martin McCarlson and Minnie McCarlson; and his siblings, Arnold, Sophie Pribula and Marion Hendrickson.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Johnson (Chuck) of Webster, SD, Jane Rasmussen (Jim) of Maple Grove, MN, Sharon Koch (Don) of Las Vegas, NV and Michael McCarlson (Juli) of Webster, SD; his sisters, Martha Baumgarn, Evelyn Likness and Gloria Paulson; and his sister-in-law Shirley Storley (Laverne). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
