She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bleibaum and Edna Bleibaum (Sukut); her husband Donald "Red" Helgeson; her half-brother Willis Bleibaum; her siblings-in-law, Keith Quale, Olen Helgeson and June Carlson; her nephew Wayne Carlson; and her goddaughter Michelle Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Helgeson of Webster, SD, Lisa Burns of Sioux Falls, SD, Carrie Helgeson of Webster, SD and Melanie Johnson (Matt) of Webster; her sisters, Connie Stauch (Ed) of Groton, SD, Carryl Goens (Bob) of Gillette, WY and LaVonne McKinney (Jeff) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Brady Helgeson, Spencer Burns, Sydni Burns, Kennedy and Portlyn Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Opal Quale of Webster, SD and Diane Frazier (Earl). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
