Orvis Jorgenson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orvis Jorgenson of Webster, South Dakota, who passed away on March 17, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Jorgenson and Laura Jorgenson (Ridd); his wife Marcella Rumpza of Joseph's Catholic Church; his siblings, Marvin (Bob), Mildred, Helen, Vanesse and Grace; his granddaughter Gracie Reynolds; and his grandson-in-law Mike Wolforth.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Jorgenson (Sherry) of Watertown, SD, Laurie Bergman (Melvin) of Roslyn, SD, Jody Jorgenson (Jackie) of Webster, SD, Amy Reynolds (Tim) of Shawnee, KS and Cory Jorgenson (Kris) of Canton, SD; and his brothers, Orville and Ivan. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and (1 on the way), and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethesda Home of Webster or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Waubay.
