He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Berg and Myrl Berg (Kennedy); and his sister Carol Evenson. He is survived by: his wife Arlys; his sisters, Jean Overn and Lois Small; his children, Timothy Berg (Elizabeth), Dr. Troy Berg (Corinne) and Dr. Tara Thieke (J. C.); his grandchildren, Sophia, Austin James, Thomas, Joshua, Joseph, Nora, Katherine, Caleb, Grace, Colter, Hayden and Bennett; and his great grandchild Anna.
