He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Margaret (Schmieg); his siblings, Gene, Edward, Tony and Jean Carol; and his nephews, David Breske and Ronald Phyle.
He is survived by: his son Brandon Cotton (Kim Schulz); his grandson Cole Cotton of Watertown; his sisters, May Gibson (Galen) of Ortley, Lisa Erickson (Larry) of Watertown, Linda Fitting (Tom) of Watertown and Debra Breske of Watertown; and his sisters-in-law, Bernadine Breske of Yankton and Gwen Breske of Watertown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
