He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Herb Nolte and Kenneth Erickson; and his grandparents-in-law, Eugene Phelps and Lois Van Ash. He is survived by: his parents, Wes Nolte and Karen Nolte (Erickson); his wife Miranda Phelps; his uncle Wayne; his children, Wesley and Evangeline; his siblings, Brad Nolte (Cory) and Alyssa Shoemaker (Joel); his grandmothers, Donna Nolte of Webster, SD. and Lorraine Erickson of Webster, SD.; his nieces and nephews, Chayse, Drake, Huck, Layla, Waylon, Jack, Lennon and Cody; his parents-in-law, Jim and Theresa Phelps; his brother-in-law Robert Phelps (Kelli) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his grandparents-in-law, Rita Phelps of Sioux Falls, SD and Gordon Van Ash of Pierre, SD. He is also survived by many aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials for Wesley and Evangeline.
