She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Breske and Anna Breske; her husband Anton C. Nowak; and her siblings, Clara Duchene (Al), Leo Breske (Philimena), James Breske, MaryAnn Orrico (Nick), Agnes Rumpza (Roman) and Ben Breske (Loretta).
She is survived by: her children, Joanita Johnson (Colin) of Webster, SD, Janel Rohde (Ken) of Rosholt, SD and Tom Nowak (Myra) of Casselton, ND; her grandchildren, Russell Johnson, Corey Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Sarah Wilhelm, Briana Johnson, Ember Rohde, Troy Rohde, Scott Nowak, Michael Nowak and Nathan Nowak; and her sister-in-law Hedy Breske. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
