Dawn Lapka wrote a sympathy message

“I wish I could have attended my Grandmother's funeral. But I am grateful that I got to see her and visit with her shortly before she passed away. She was a sweet, loving, generous woman who taught me what humility truly means. As the oldest child of Eileen (Zenk) and Robert Gillies, and one of the middle born grandchildren, I feel gratitude that I got to live with Grandma and Grandpa during the summers quite a lot. I really appreciate that I am a part of a good family.”
