He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Chilson and Agnes Chilson (Hanson); and his sister Joan Iverson. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Kostman; his children, Carol Jeannine (Tony) of Brooklyn Park, MN and David Charles of Fayetteville, AR.; his grandsons, Brandon Ness (Amber) of Mankato, MN and Dr. Cody Ness (Kelsey) of Sioux Falls, SD.; his stepgrandchildren, Nick Simons of New Ulm, MN, Stephanie Simons and Karl Schaumann of St. Paul, MN.; and his great grandchildren, Connor Ness and Easton Ness of Mankato, MN..

Social distancing guidelines will be followed and those in attendance are asked to wear a mask.
