He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wika and Elizabeth Wika (Boik); his sisters, Esther Fromelt, Della Mitchell, Gladys DeBilzan and Mary Kuecker; and his grandson Jacob Huggett.
He is survived by: his wife Norma; his sons, Mark Wika (Melissa) of Pierpont, SD, Brett Wika of Watertown, SD and Daniel Wika (Holly Karenbauer) of Webster, SD; his close friend Bruce Markegard of Watertown, SD; his daughters, Theresa Goehring of St. Mary, Lora Kirkvold (Floyd) of Iroquois, SD, Brenda Huggett (Lance) of Long Prairie, MN and Gina Wika of Howard, SD; and his siblings, William Wika of Webster, SD and Lorraine Erickson of Webster. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He made donations to many great causes over the years.
