It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tad Stricherz of Waverly, South Dakota, born in Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Stricherz (Ries) of Waverly; his wife Karla Fish; his child Jordan (Kelsi); his close friend Kathy Minatra of Waverly; his son Jake Willmar (Allison); his grandchildren, Callie, Jackson and Trey of Huron; his siblings, Paulette Schmeling (Scott) of New Ulm, MN, Tom Stricherz (Donna) of Waverly, LeaAnn Manke (Bob Benson) of Mitchell and Todd Stricherz of Bryan, TX; his siblings-in-law, Lynelle Stricherz of Ignacio, CO and Randy Guderian of Kranzburg; his niece Megan Shama (Jake) of Council Bluffs, IA; his great-nephews, Ferdinand Ramos of Madison, WI and Vincent Ramos of Brookings, SD; his son Matthew Stricherz; his siblings, Tim, Trent, Terry Stricherz and Darla Guderian; and his stepgrandchildren, Summer and Gabe Shama.
