It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Silas Johnson of Waubay, South Dakota, born in Sisseton, South Dakota, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 13, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Silas Levi Johnson; his great-great-grandparent Florence Christenson (Bluedog); his great-grandparent Joakin Christenson; his uncle Larry Rencountre; and his great-aunt Ellen Fisher.
He is survived by: his parents, Delano DuMarce of Veblen, SD and Selina Johnson of Waubay, SD; his siblings, Anthony Michael Johnson, Aubryanna Hernandez and Honesty Johnson of Waubay, SD; his grandmother Eileen Johnson; his great-grandparent Geraldine Rencountre; his grandmother Kathy DuMarce; his great-grandparent Joann Gill; and his aunts, Lana Jaeger, Gail Jaeger and Melanie Valentine.
