He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Barse and Delores Barse (Olson); his brother Jeffrey; his brother-in-law Gabriel Keeble; his niece Julia Keeble; and his stepson Brandon Kampa.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hanson; his daughters, Amy Johnson (Brian) of Watertown, SD and Maurissa Erickson (Christopher) of Watertown, SD; his grandchildren, Derrick Barse (Crystal), Wyatt Johnson, Jerika Petrich (Trey), Treyton, Tyrone, Takaya and Taylee Erickson; his siblings, Rodney Barse of Sioux Falls, SD, Keith Barse (Dawn) of Ethan, SD, Mike Barse (Laurie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kevin Barse (Julie) of Waubay, SD, Farlin Barse (Wendy) of Corsica, SD, Dixie Gaikowski (Jack) of Tucson, AZ, Pam Keeble of Waubay, SD, Rita Marx (Kenny) of Waubay, SD, Donnietta Bernard (Michael) of Watertown, SD and Kelly Robertson (Edward) of Watertown, SD; his close friend Gwen Kampa; his stepdaughter Celeste Kampa; and his stepgrandchildren, Kash, Remington Besaw, Christopher and Matthew Kampa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
