He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Jens and Lorraine Jens (Winter); his siblings, Mark Jens and Rebeca Koch; his nephew Ty Jens; and his niece Brandi Beisch.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Jens Sr. (Lacy), Tom DeCoteau Jr. and Angeline Wanna; his grandchildren, Eric Jens Jr. Emma Jens, Emeri Jens, Kai Bissonette, Eljin Jens and Ohanzi Etan Hinape; his siblings, Paula Beisch (Arnie), Lori Allran (Richard), Brenda Jens, Vicki Kampa (Bob), Terri Gaikowski (Kevin) and Brett Jens (Robin); and his brother-in-law Darrel Koch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the FIKSDAL FUNERAL SERVICE (122 W 5th Ave, Webster, SD 57274). A prayer was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Waubay School.
