He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Phillips and Lorna Phillips (Barry); his brother Russell Phillips; and his grandson Julian "Sonny". He is survived by: his wife Leanne Mohr; his daughter Jessi Phillips; his granddaughter Jaela Spanks; his son AJ Phillips of Waubay, SD; and his siblings, Arnold Phillips (Arlet) of Grand Forks, ND, Ronald Phillips (Lydia) of Alpena, SD, John Phillips of Waubay, SD, Faye Pies (Gerald) of Waubay, SD and Dawn Murphy of Webster, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
