With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annick Wait of Waubay, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Annick departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Annick may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Annick leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerard Doreau and Paulette Doreau; and her husband Jerome. She is survived by: her daughters, Veronique Wait of Webster, Muriel Wait of Watertown and Carole Wiekamp of Minot, ND; and her grandson Jerome of Watertown. She is also survived by her three sisters and one brother.
