He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Max Ortmeier and Elizabeth Ortmeier (Schaefers); his son Robert of Watertown, SD.; his brother Jim; and his children, Judi Bokenfohr (John), Alberta, Mary Powers (Stephen), Gloria Byrne (John), CamMay Baloun (Brad), Dianne Zweifel, Bill Jr. (Brenda) of Watertown, SD., Joe (Vicki Rehder) of Watertown, SD. and Kenneth (Judy) of Calahoo. He was also cherished by 29 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A very special thank you to ALL the staff at Jenkins Living Center, who welcomed him into their family, and loved him through times of no visitors, due to Covid.
