With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willa Austin (Watertown, South Dakota), born in Watauga, South Dakota, who passed away on September 13, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hendrickson and Sophia Hendrickson; her stepmother Susie Hendrickson; her brother Glen Hendrickson; her stepsiblings, Helen Sutton and James Henderson; her husbands, Louis Woodward and Alan Austin; and her daughter Susan Woodward Tracy.
She is survived by: her sister Donna Hendrickson Dayton; her sister-in-law Leona Hendrickson Horn; her daughter Judi Woodward Heiman (Tim); her stepchildren, Douglas Austin (Maylou) and MaryAnn Nelson (David); her grandchildren, Mark Austin, Ann Pfaff (Scott), Reed Austin (Nettie), Julie Reimer (Russ) and Bryan Nelson (Jodie); and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Katherine, Zoe, Addison, Owen and Natalie. She is also survived by two daughters and stepchildren.
The family requests that donations be made to Arrow Education Foundation, Watertown Community Foundation and Watertown United Church of Christ in lieu of flowers.
