She was predeceased by: her parents, Hagen Herding and Mary Herding (Wilkins); her husband Theodore Engels, Jr.; her siblings, Hico, Bennie Herding, Grace, Anna, Della, Margaret, Katie and Gladys; her children, Ronald Engels, Betty Audus and Shirley Kinyon; her children-in-law, Vicky Engels, Alice Engels, Lonnie Van Winsen, Terry Urdahl, Jim Trautner and Darwin Audus; and her great grandchildren, Michael Fetzer, Coy Hoeke and Mackenzie Urdahl.
She is survived by: her children, James Engels, Donna Trautner Bertsch (Allen), Calvin Engels (Patti) of Watertown, SD, Janet Collins (Ron) of Revillo, SD, Chuck Engels, Marjorie Schamens (Scott), Judy Swanson (Dave), Darwin Engels (Brenda) and Kelly Engels of Watertown, SD. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
