She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Haakinson and Leta Haakinson (Kay); her husband Norman; her brothers, Melvin (LaVonne) and Clifford (Eileen); and her grandson Craig Niles.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Becker (Harlan), Sharon Niles and Dennis Aker (Carla) of Watertown, SD; and her grandchildren, T. J. Boerger, Brian Aker, Angie Rycraft, Nicky Heath, Kathy Manzey and Tammy Taecker. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
