It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Koosman (Watertown, South Dakota), born in Appleton, Minnesota, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhart Koosman and Sophie Koosman (Schuerman); his son Jeff Koosman; his sister Barbara Mesenbrink; and his siblings-in-law, Craig Latzke and Deb Latzke.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Latzke of Watertown; his daughter Michelle Sunde (Kelly) of Watertown; his daughter-in-law Michele Koosman of Revillo, SD; his grandchildren, Tasha Paulsen (Nick), Shayna Ragatz (Eric), Nikolas Sunde and Meg Sunde; his great grandchild Charlotte Rose Ragatz; his sisters, Evelyn Begley of Bloomfield, CO and Judy Koosman (Jack Sexton) of Plymouth, MN; his brothers-in-law, Bob Mesenbrink of Cross Lake, MN and Brad Latzke (Kathy) of Battle Lake, MN; and his close friends, Joel and Donna Winkelman.
