He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bohls and Delores Bohls (Petershagen); his siblings, Charlene Bohls and Jim Bohls; and his sister-in-law Marlene Bohls.
He is survived by: his children, Nila Thibodeau of Toronto, SD, Natalie Gallop (Jessie) of Elkton, SD, Stacy Olivier (Scott) of Peoria, AZ and Theresa Freidel (Adrian); his siblings, Diane Sogge (Dave) of Watertown, SD and Don Bohls of Watertown, SD; and his sister-in-law Mary Bohls of Castlewood, SD.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel (1111 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A wake was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery (25965 477th Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104).
