He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lucille Kriesel; his parents, Emil Stoltenburg and Gertrude Stoltenburg; and his siblings, Delores (Merle Briggs), Leonard (Dorothy Stoltenburg), Norman (Marjorie Stoltenburg) and Bernard (Beverly Stoltenburg).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jenna Hieb (Everson), Brooke Prouty, Katelyn Briscoe (Stoltenburg), Tessa Stoltenburg, Corey Stoltenburg, Jeff Everson, Kirk Foster, Jason Foster, Colten Stoltenburg, Chase Prouty, Dustin Prouty and Tyler Stoltenburg; and his children, Roxann Everson (Curt) of Pierre, SD, Rodney Stoltenburg (Betty) of Portland, OR, Dianne Foster (Rich) of West Fargo, ND, Nikki Prouty (Todd) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Brian Stoltenburg (Jacquie) of Watertown, SD. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
