He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Skallerud of Watertown; and his siblings, Chuck Skallerud of Wichita Falls, TX, Rick Skallerud (Carol) of Sioux Falls, SD and Jane Skallerud of Watertown, SD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A diagnosis of Parkinson's slowed him down some but he continued running and going to the gym.
