He is survived by: his wife Maria H. Nguyen; his children, Robert Von Weagel and Donna Maria Weagel; his son-in-law John Watson; and his grandsons, Conrad and Vincent. He is also survived by his two children; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

“Bob and I became friends back in the in the early 70's, we went to work on the Alyeska Pipeline at the Marine Terminal in Valdez, Alaska, from there to the Oil Fields of the North Slope. we kept in touch through the years as our destiny's moved on, Bob went back to Watertown and I stayed in Anchorage. We met when we could. Time sure does fly by My Friend I do miss you, but, thanks to you I have a life time of memories. From one Welp to another I hope to see ya when I get there....Terry”
