He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank I. Neal and Fern Neal (Griner); his daughter Diane; his wife Evelyn Fern Neal; and his sister Phyllis Kohnke (Neal).
He is survived by: his children, Patricia (Roger), Eckstrand, Richard (Sharon) and Douglas Neal (Sioux). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
