With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis J. Schmeling of Watertown, South Dakota, born in South Shore, South Dakota, who passed away on February 11, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schmeling and Edith Schmeling (Zielsky); her brother Dale Schmeling; her sister-in-law Isabelle Schmeling; and her niece Judy Salverson.

She is survived by: her nephews, Randy (Rita) and Joe; and her niece Janet Pray.
