She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Scotter and Fern Scotter (Bjelkstrom); her husband David Kittelson; her parents-in-law, Elwin and Harriet Kittelson; her son Dwayne A. Kittelson; her brothers, Robert, Gene and Richard Scotter; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Scotter, Betty Nelson, Ruth Roe, Karyl Sandal, Gilbert, Albert, Floyd Kittelson, Bob Nelson and Don Roe.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Lowery (Bob) of Pierre, SD, Doug Kittelson (Karna) of Hayti, SD, Debra Powell (Donald) of Mandan, ND and Darrel Kittelson (Janis) of Watertown, SD; her brother Jim Scotter (Mary); her siblings-in-law, Shirley Scotter of Huron, SD, Joni Scotter of Marion, IA, Joan Kittelson of Watertown, SD, Gail Kittelson of Henry, SD, Donna Kittelson of Watertown, SD and Bill Sandal of Phillip, SD; and her grandchildren, Brian Lowery (Jennifer), Brandon Lowery (Crystal), Bradley Lowery (Rachel), Brittany Mehlhaff (Jeff), Darla Jia (Xiao), Daniel Powell (Erin), Dana Schmidt (Austin), Dixie Falk (John), Davita Atyeo (Nathan), Denise Lau (Tyler), Myles Larson, Dillion Kittelson (Kelbi), Dylan Altfillisch (Bridget) and Tasha Altfillisch. She is also survived by 39 great-grandchildren.
