Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mavis Valberg of Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 92, on September 5, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Fryett (Edwards) and Robert Harry Fryett; her former husband Darwin Hartman; her son Larry Hartman; her grandson Lance Mohr; her great grandchild Isla Hartman; and her sisters, Venita "Nita" Diede (Robert Pete), Lucille "Joy" Mathison (Harold), Alta Rick (Floyd) and Frances "Fran" Claussen (Richard).

She is survived by: her husband Hubert Valberg; her children, Shari Hartman of Silver Spring, MD, Darrell Hartman (Debbie) of Redfield, Cliff Hartman (Dawn Kendrick) of Bradley, Jan Solum (Steve) of Watertown, Rick Valberg (Lori) of Watertown and Roxie McElhany (Tim) of Watertown; and her brother Lester Fryett. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Prairie Hill Cemetery Association, the Watertown Senior Citizens or Prairie Lakes Hospice.
