She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Carpenter and Alma Carpenter (Wickre); her husband Dale S. Snyder; her son Ronald Snyder; her granddaughter Lindsey Mors; her stepmother Lottie Carpenter; her brothers, Leon (Kathleen Carpenter) and Neil Carpenter; and her siblings-in-law, Lester and Lenore Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Mors (David) of Watertown, SD, Joe Snyder (Lisa) of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Edward Snyder (Rhonda) of Custer, SD and Laurie Rasmussen (John) of Volga, SD; her siblings, Alma Burvee (Jim) of Zimmerman, MN and John Carpenter (Marian) of Athens, GA; her sister-in-law JoAnn Carpenter of Mankato, MN; and her grandchildren, Scott Mors, Jon Mors, Erica Snyder, Tessa Snyder, Mitchell Snyder, Jessica Cadwell (Rasmussen) and Brett Rasmussen. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
