She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Aalbers and Barbara Aalbers (Janssen); her brother Richard Aalbers; her grandson Zackary Block; her brother-in-law Bill Luke; and her close friend Thomas Klapperich.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Johnson; her children, Derick Johnson of Brookings, SD, Heather Block (Rusty) of Rice Lake, WI and Carrie Blackwelder (Matt) of Watertown, SD; and her siblings, Cindy Smith (Steve) of Columbus, MT and Jim Aalbers (Jennifer) of Hendricks, MN.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
