He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Norton; his daughter Jan McNamara; his grandson Eric Heggelund; and his sons-in-law, Roger Mack and Robert Burton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Burton of Watertown, SD and Kaye Mack (Wade Merry) of Sioux Falls, SD; his son-in-law Jim McNamara of Watertown, SD; and his grandchildren, Tamy Lantgen (Cully) of Watertown, SD, Heath Heggelund (Nikki) of Watertown, SD, Sara Garcia (Jimmy) of Tucumcari, NM and Ryan McNamara (Amy) of Windom, MN. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
