With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judy K. Cordell of Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Judy find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Hegge and Leona Hegge (Dickman); her husband Milton "Milt" Cordell; and her siblings, Dale, James, Clyde Hegge and Gloria Hardy.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Cordell of Seffner, FL, Stacey Dobberpuhl (Travis) of Watertown, SD and Tina Franz of Watertown, SD; her granddaughter Savannah Dobberpuhl; and her sister-in-law Eileen Hegge of Big Lake, MN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel (1111 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer (2001 2nd St W, Watertown, SD 57201).
