He is survived by: his wife Jayne Benson of Watertown; his children, Lynnette Stormo of Watertown, Kimberly Benson of Watertown, Lisa McIntire (Paul) of Watertown and Greg Benson (Jen) of Watertown; and his siblings, Allen Benson of Watertown, Lonnie Milton of Brandt, LeRoy Benson of Watertown, Larry Benson of Goodwin, Emmie Sherman (Ron) of Goodwin and Tom Benson of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel (1111 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM.
