He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Leonard Berven and Alma Ellen Berven (Ordal). He is survived by: his brother John Albert; his wife Ardys Johnson; his children, Renee Olson Stevenson (Chad) and Doug Berven (Sandy); his grandchildren, Lauren Vander Veen (Reid), Olivia Tracy (Josh), Regan Stanley (Wes), Levi Olson, Kylen Olson, Chase Berven and Brynn Berven; his great grandchildren, Finley, Ezra, Willa, Marren Tracy, Ronan, Auden, Revel and Soren Vander Veen; and his son-in-law Ron.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hosanna Lutheran Church (1617 14th Ave NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
