She was predeceased by: her parents-in-law, Vincent and JoAnn Ries; her aunt Liz Knudson; and her grandparents, Judd, Tootie Muller, Richard and Madeline Knudson.

She is survived by: her nephews, Kyle Ebbinga, Kelbey Isack, Nathan Moyer, Tyler Moyer, Dylan Muller, Justin Peterson, Kade Ries and Kolby Ries; her parents, Terry Muller and Suzanne Muller (Knudson) of Watertown; her husband Dale Ries of Watertown, SD; her sons, Brody Ries (Keana Jackson) of Watertown and Brett Ries of Washington, D. C.; her granddaughter Winnie Lynn Ries of Watertown; and her siblings, Kristi Ebbinga (Al) of Lake Crystal, MN and Jeff Muller (Traci Stein) of Watertown. She is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in memory of Jenny to the Human Service Agency in Watertown.
