We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2021, at the age of 87, Jean Steinmetz of Watertown, South Dakota, born in South Shore, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Zirbel and Hilda Zirbel (Kaaz); her husbands, Alrine Steinmetz and Lee Hansen; her son Craig Steinmetz; and her siblings, Dale Zirbel and Ivis Sieveke.

She is survived by: her sons, Allen Steinmetz (MarKay) and Keanna (Vanessa); her daughters-in-law, Tammy Steinmetz, Andrea Miller (Micah) and Alicia; her sons, Gary Steinmetz (Suzanne), Jacob Steinmetz (Ashley), Jonathan Steinmetz (Chelsea) and Cortez Steinmetz (Jackie); her stepsiblings, Arnold Tesch (Barb) of Kent, WA and Lois Hildebrant (Darrell) of Brookings, SD; and her sister-in-law Esther Zirbel. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to St. Martin's "Telling the Next Generation".
