He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Peterson and Thresa Peterson (Ahartz); and his brothers-in-law, Merl Hamak and Paul Eikanger. He is survived by: his wife Jane Peterson of Watertown, SD; his sons, Scott Peterson (Susan) of Belle Fourche, SD, Timothy Peterson (Carla) of Watertown, SD, Heath Peterson (DeeAnna) of Watertown, SD and Erik Peterson (Teresa) of Revillo, SD; his grandchildren, Jon, Jayme, Lydia, Grace, Maggie, Leo and Taliah; and his sisters, Janice Hamak of Gary, SD and Judy Eikanger of Olathe, KS.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
