Hobart J. McNames Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hobart J. McNames of Watertown, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd McNames and Ardis McNames (Taylor); his children, Melissa Gronseth (Dan) and Josh McNames; his grandchildren, Caleb Rector, Meg Rector, Sam Rector, Ella McNames and Owen McNames; his siblings, Marilyn Rohrer (Larry), Kate Foley (Dick), Nancy Keever (Tom) and Bob McNames (Cindy); his son-in-law Matt Ellefson; and his friend Cindy Jordan. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crawford - Osthus Funeral Chapel (1311 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
