It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floris R. Hilmoe of Watertown, South Dakota, born in Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlotte Norby (Hexom) and Haldor Norby; her husband Norris Hilmoe; and her siblings, Signa Callen, Evelyn Spies, Harriet Carper and Howard Norby.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas (Judy) of Watertown, SD and Dennis (Lexie) of Coon Rapids, MN; her brother Don Norby of Sioux Falls, SD; and her grandchildren, Tatum (Jessica Hilmoe), Holly (Paul Nielsen), Destiny (Joe Hagen), Sarah (Aaron Yost), Angela (Chip Cederstrand), Matthew (Nicole Hilmoe) and Gabriel (Kelly Hilmoe). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
