In the sacred silence of farewell, Emerick is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Emerick's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Harold Johnson; his great-grandparents, Arlene and William Busk, Jr.; his grandfather Emery White, Jr.; and his great-grandparents, Ephriam Johnson and Jeanette Barker.
He is survived by: his mother Emily Johnson of Watertown, SD; and his grandmother Debbie Hathaway of Watertown, SD. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A wake was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribal Community Center (12554 BIA Highway 711, Agency Village, SD 57262). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
